Roles and responsibilities for Business Development Executive (BDE)


Job Description


General Functions:

·               Develop and maintain relationship with Key Opinion Leaders.

·               Ensure market penetration, coverage of territory spread across targeted areas.

·               Manage & develop strong channel partners.

·               Work closely with the SM/NSM/MD for management of business strategies and execution of field activities.

·               Understanding of Medical Device market.

·               Manage a team of Nurse/Application Specialist.

·               As the business develops, help setup Business Development teams, in co ordination with the Regional Heads, across region.

·               Posses mentoring & coaching abilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·               Strong Customer relationship management and development aptitude.

·               Possess good presentation skills.

·               Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing new organization.

·               Proficient in English communication.

·               Experience in Medical Device & concept selling model is highly desirable.

·               Proven ability to work independently.

·               Possess good personality and able to work in a team environment.

·               Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative techniques.

·               Self starter with ability to solve problems with decision making ability.

·               Proficient in MS Office products with emphasis in Excel and Word.

·               Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills.

Education and Experience:

·               Graduate/Postgraduate in Science/MBA

·               3 – 4 yrs exp. in sales or managing a business in a Medical Device Organization.

·               Proven track record in achievement.
